As you well know, I have a deep affection for entertainment in all of its forms. That’s why I always keep my tablet loaded with tons of movies, TV shows, and (of course) books. Unfortunately, as you probably also know, watching/reading all of that takes a toll on a tablet’s battery. That’s where the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 portable charger comes in. As the name suggests, the +LIFEGUARD has been a real life saver.
I love the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 portable charger because it is so simple to use. All you have to do is charge it up at home (either via a computer’s USB port or a wall charger [not included]), pop it in your pocket, and go. When your tablet or phone’s battery starts getting low, just plug the included micro-USB cord (large end) into the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 portable charger and put the small end into the charge/data port of your device and you’re charging! For my tablet, I can usually get enough battery for another few hours of movie watching, while a smart phone can be fully charged in a matter of an hour or two!
The best thing about the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 portable charger is that you aren’t just limited to devices that use micro-USB cables. Right now, when you buy one of these nifty little chargers, your box includes a handy dandy lightning cable! That means Apple iPhone users (from the fifth generation on) can charge their devices while out of the house without having to bring their main lightning cable with them!
Truthfully, the only gripe I have with the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 portable charger is that there is no power level indicator. The light on the charger lets you know when it is charging, fully charged, or dispensing a charge. Problem is, I would like to know how much of the battery is left as I’m charging up my device. However, that is only a minor quibble when the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 portable charger has otherwise been a great help.
If the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 portable charger sounds like something you need to carry in your pocket/purse, be sure to head over here and get yourself one. It is available in four different colors – basic black, shining silver, bright blue, and perfectly pink! If you use your tablet and/or phone as much as I do, you’ll be really glad you did!
